Analysis of the Application Effect of Traditional Chinese Medicine Fumiga-tion and Washing Combined with Thumbtack Needle in Patients with Dia-betes Rheumatism(Qi Deficiency and Blood Stasis Type)
Objective To analyze the application effect of traditional Chinese medicine fumigation and washing com-bined with thumbtack needle in patients with diabetic rheumatism(qi deficiency and blood stasis type).Methods A to-tal of 78 patients with diabetes and arthralgia admitted to Xinyi Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from Febru-ary to December 2023 were selected as the research objects and divided into two groups according to different nursing methods.39 patients in the control group were treated with routine intervention,and 39 patients in the observation group were treated with traditional Chinese medicine fumigation and washing combined with thumbtack needle inter-vention.The pain scores(emotional burden,doctor-related pain,life rules and interpersonal relationship-related pain),quality of life scores(physiological function,physical pain,emotional function,social function)and nursing sat-isfaction were compared between the two groups.Results After nursing,the scores of diabetes distress scale in the ob-servation group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P＜0.05).The scores of quality of life in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the differ-ences were statistically significant(all P＜0.05).The total nursing satisfaction rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion Traditional Chi-nese medicine fumigation and washing combined with thumbtack needle can alleviate the pain of patients with diabe-tes thumbtack and improve the quality of life and nursing satisfaction of patients.
