Objective To discuss the application effect of blood glucose test and urine glucose test in diabetes melli-tus(DM).Methods A total of 100 patients with suspected DM admitted to Fujian Medical University Affiliated Long-yan First Hospital from January 2020 to December 2023 were selected as the research objects.All patients underwent urine glucose test and blood glucose test.Oral glucose tolerance test(OGTT)was used as the gold standard.The diag-nostic efficacy(accuracy,sensitivity,specificity,positive predictive value,negative predictive value)of the two detec-tion methods were compared.Resules OGTT test confirmed positive in 52 cases.The accuracy,sensitivity,specificity,positive predictive value and negative predictive value of blood glucose test were higher than those of urine glucose test.Conclusion In the diagnosis of DM,blood glucose test and urine glucose test can play significant roles,among which diagnotic efficaly of blood glucose test is better.
