Objective To investigate the effect of combined application of blood glucose and β2-microglobulin(β2-MG)in the diagnosis of early kidney injury in diabetes. Methods A total of 200 patients with suspected early diabetic kidney injury admitted to Longyan First Hospital from January to December 2023 were selected as the study subjects. Therefore, all patients received blood glucose examination,β2-MG examination and urine routine examination, and the results of each examination were counted.According to the final clinical diagnosis results, the diagnostic efficacy of blood glucose+β2-MG on early renal injury in diabetes was evaluated. Results A total of 200 patients with sus-pected early diabetic kidney injury patients were confirmed by clinical diagnosis of 70 cases(35.00%)for early dia-betic kindney injury,130 cases(65.00%)for non-diabetic early kidney injury. The number of positive cases detected by blood glucose+β2-MG test was higher than that of blood glucose+urine routine test;the SEN,SPE,ACC,PPV and NPV of blood glucose+β2-MG test were 94.29%(66/70),98.46%(128/130),97.00%(194/200),97.06%(66/68)and 96.97%(128/132)were highter than those of the control group, which were 48.57%(34/70),89.23%(116/130),75.00%(150/200),70.83%(34/48)and 76.32%(116/152),and the differences were statistically significant(χ2=35.840,9.590,40.199,16.276,24.905,all P<0.05).Conclusion The combined application of blood glucose and β2-MG can improve the accuracy of diagnosis results of early kidney injury in diabetes, provide a reliable test basis for patients'health maintenance and promotion of work organization, and provide guidance for improving the diagnostic efficiency of early renal injury in diabetes.
