Application Value of Combined Test Results of β2-microglobulin and Se-rum Creatinine/Hemoglobin Ratio in the Diagnosis of Early Renal Injury in Diabetes Mellitus
Objective To analyze the value of combined test of β2-microglobulin(β2-MG)and serum creatinine/he-moglobin ratio in the diagnosis of early renal injury in diabetes mellitus. Methods A total of 82 diabetic patients ad-mitted to Taixing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from July 2022 to January 2024 were selected as the re-search objects, including 60 patients with simple diabetes mellitus and 22 patients with early renal injury in diabetes mellitus. All patients were tested for β2-MG and serum creatinine/hemoglobin ratio, and the diagnostic values(accu-racy,sensitivity and specificity)of different examination methods were compared. Results The sensitivity and accu-racy of β2-MG combined with serum creatinine/hemoglobin ratio were higher than those of β2-MG and serum cre-atinine/hemoglobin ratio, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).There were no significant dif-ference in sensitivity, specificity and accuracy between β2-MG and serum creatinine/hemoglobin ratio(all P>0.05).Conclusion The sensitivity and accuracy of combined detection of β2-MG and serum creatinine/hemoglobin ratio in the diagnosis of early renal injury in diabetes mellitus were higher than those of single β2-MG and serum creatinine/hemoglobin ratio.
