Objective To compare the diagnostic value of blood glucose test and urine glucose test in diabetic pa-tients.Methods A total of 132 patients with suspected diabetes admitted to Pingluo County People's Hospital from January 2023 to January 2024 were selected as the research objects. All patients were tested by blood glucose detec-tion and urine glucose detection after admission.Oral glucose tolerance test was used as the gold standard. The diag-nostic results and diagnostic efficacy(sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, positive predictive value, negative predictive value, missed diagnosis rate and misdiagnosis rate)of blood glucose detection and urine glucose detection in diabetic patients were compared. Results There were 103 cases diagnosed by oral glucose tolerance test in 132 patients with suspected diabetes,There were 99 patients with positive blood glucose detection and 78 patients with positive urine glucose detection. The negative predictive value, sensitivity, accuracy and missed diagnosis rate of blood glucose test were better than those of urine glucose test, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion Compared with urine glucose test, blood glucose test has higher value in the diagnosis of diabetic patients, and the de-tection results are closer to the real situation, which can provide reference for clinical diagnosis and treatment.
