Objective To explore the application value of chemiluminescence immunoassay(CLIA)in immune detec-tion of diabetes mellitus(DM).Methods Sixty patients with DM(observation group)and 60 healthy volunteers(control group)admitted to Department of the Laboratory of Longyan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Fujian Prov-ince from January 2023 to January 2024 were selected as the study subjects.serum insulin(INS)and C-peptide(C-P)were tested by CLIA technology.Fasting plasma glucose(FPG),2-hour postprandial plasma glucose(2 hPG)and gly-cated hemoglobin A1c(HbA1c)were measured. The test results were statistically analyzed to evaluate the diagnostic efficacy of CLIA(sensitivity, accuracy, specificity, positive predictive value, negative predictive value). Results The levels of FPG,2 hPG and HbA1c in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differ-ences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Fasting and 1-hour postprandial serum INS and C-P were lower than those in control group, but 2 hINS and C-P postprandial were higher than those in control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The positive predictive value of CLIA for the diagnosis of DM was 96.55%(56/58),negative predictive value was 93.55%(58/62),sensitivity was 93.33%(56/60),specificity was 96.67%(58/60),and accuracy was 95.00%(114/120).Conclusion CLIA can provide a reliable test basis for the diagnosis of DM and promote the efficiency of DM diagnosis.
