Efficacy of Sulfonylurea Hypoglycemic Drugs Combined with Bu-tylphthalide Soft Capsules in the Treatment of Ischemic Stroke and Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus
Efficacy of Sulfonylurea Hypoglycemic Drugs Combined with Bu-tylphthalide Soft Capsules in the Treatment of Ischemic Stroke and Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus
Objective To analyze the efficacy of sulfonylurea hypoglycemic drugs combined with butanophentide soft-capsules in the treatment of ischemic stroke complicated with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM).Methods A total of 80 patients with ischemic stroke complicated with T2DM admitted to the Department of Neurology of Hui'an County Hos-pital from January 2022 to December 2023 were selected as the research objects.According to different treatment methods,they were divided into the control group and the observation group,with 40 cases in each group.The inci-dence of adverse reactions(nausea and vomiting,palpitation and shortness of breath,skin itching,diarrhea)and the levels of blood glucose indexes(2-hour postprandial blood glucose,glycated hemoglobin A1c,fasting blood glucose),blood lipid indexes(total cholesterol,triglyceride,low density lipoprotein cholesterol,high density lipoprotein choles-terol),neurological function and dysfunction scores before and after treatment were compared between the two groups.Results After 3 months of treatment,the levels of blood glucose and blood lipid in the observation group were better than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).After 3 months of treat-ment,the scores of neurological function and dysfunction in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Sulfonylurea hypoglycemic drugs combined with butylphthalide soft capsules can further improve the levels of blood glucose and blood lipid indexes in patients with ischemic stroke complicated with T2DM,and will not increase the risk of medication.
