Objective To explore the effect of combined application of insulin detemir and insulin aspart on preg-nancy outcome in patients with gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM).Methods The clinical data of 100 GDM patients admitted to Quanzhou First Hospital from January 2023 to January 2024 were retrospectively selected.According to different treatment measures, they were divided into the conventional group(n=50,treated with insulin aspart only)and the observation group(n=50,treated with insulin aspart combined with insulin detemir). The blood glucose levels(glycated hemoglobin A1c,fasting plasma glucose,2-hour postprandial plasma glucose),adverse pregnancy outcomes(polyhydramnios, neonatal hypoglycemia, premature rupture of membranes, macrosomia),and clinical efficacy were compared between the two groups. Results Before delivery, the blood glucose levels of the two groups were lower than those before treatment, and the fasting plasma glucose,2-hour postprandial plasma glucose and glycated hemoglobin A1c levels of the observation group were lower than those of the conventional group, and the differences were statisti-cally significant(all P<0.05).The incidence of adverse pregnancy outcomes in the observation group was lower than that in the conventional group, and the clinical efficacy was higher than that in the conventional group, and the differ-ences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).Conclusion In the treatment of GDM patients, the combination of in-sulin aspart and insulin detemir is selected, the effect of blood glucose regulation is better, the risk of adverse preg-nancy outcomes is lower, and the clinical efficacy is significant.
