Effect of Insulin Aspart Combined with Insulin Detemir on Pregnancy Out-come in Glucose Metabolism Control of Pregnant Women with Gestational Diabetes Mellitus
Objective To explore the effect of insulin aspart combined with insulin detemir on pregnancy outcome in glucose metabolism control of pregnant women with gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM).Methods The clinical data of 98 pregnant women with GDM admitted to Quanzhou First Hospital from April 2023 to February 2024 were retrospec-tively selected.According to different glucose control methods, they were divided into two groups,49 cases in each group. The control group was treated with insulin aspart alone, and the study group was treated with insulin aspart combined with insulin detemir. The effects of different glucose control methods on adverse pregnancy outcome(prema-ture delivery, abortion, macrosomia, low birth weight infants),glucose metabolism level(fasting blood glucose,2-hour postprandial blood glucose, glycated hemoglobin A1c)and islet function(fasting insulin, insulin resistance index)were compared. Results There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse pregnancy outcomes between the two groups(P>0.05).Before treatment, there were no significant differences in glucose metabolism and islet function between the two groups(all P>0.05).After delivery, the levels of glucose metabolism and islet function in the study group were better than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion Insulin aspart combined with insulin detemir on the basis of effective glucose control in GDM pregnant women will not increase the risk of adverse pregnancy outcomes, and the level of glucose metabolism and islet func-tion are improved.
