Objective To explore the effect of insulin detemir combined with insulin aspart in the treatment of gesta-tional diabetes mellitus(GDM)and the effect on glucose and lipid metabolism.Methods The clinical data of 120 pa-tients with GDM who were treated in Yongchun County Hospital from January 2023 to March 2024 were retrospec-tively selected.According to different treatment methods,they were divided into reference group(insulin aspart treat-ment)and observation group(insulin aspart plus insulin detemir treatment),with 60 cases in each group.The levels of glucose and lipid metabolism(2-hour postprandial blood glucose,fasting blood glucose,total cholesterol,triglyceride)and islet function(insulin secretion index,insulin resistance index)were compared between the two groups.Results After treatment,the glucose and lipid metabolism levels of the observation group were lower than those of the refer-ence group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).After treatment,the insulin secretion index of the observation group was higher than that of the reference group,and the insulion resistance index was lower than that of the reference group,the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).Conclusion The addition of in-sulin detemir based on insulin aspart in the treatment of GDM can improve the level of glucose and lipid metabolism and insulin resistance.
