Objective To analyze the intervention effect of holistic nursing on children with diabetes.Methods A to-tal of 60 children with diabetes mellitus admitted to the Department of Pediatrics of Internal Medicine,Qilu Hospital of Shandong University from June 2021 to June 2023 were selected as the research objects.They were divided into control group and observation group according to different nursing methods,with 30 cases in each group.The control group received routine nursing intervention,and the observation group received holistic nursing intervention.The blood glucose level[fasting plasma glucose(FPG),2-hour postprandial plasma glucose(2 hPG),glycated hemoglobin A1c(HbA1c)]and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups.Results After intervention,the levels of FPG,2 hPG and HbA1c in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The nursing satisfaction of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Holistic nursing intervention for children with diabetes can achieve better clinical results than routine nursing.While effectively controlling blood glu-cose levels,it can promote the improvement of nursing satisfaction.
