Objective To analyze the effect of Traditional Chinese Medicine comprehensive nursing on diabetic pa-tients.Methods The clinical data of 80 diabetic patients admitted to Beijing Changping District Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from January 2022 to January 2023 were retrospectively selected and divided into two groups ac-cording to different nursing methods,with 40 cases in each group.The control group was given routine nursing,and the study group was given Traditional Chinese Medicine comprehensive nursing on the basis of the control group.The blood glucose levels(fasting plasma glucose,2-hour postprandial plasma glucose,glycated hemoglobin A1c),negative emotions(Self-rating Anxiety Scale,Self-rating Depression Scale),self-efficacy(positive attitude,self-decision,self-decompression),quality of life(physiological function,psychological ability,social ability,spirit/belief,environmental status)were compared between the two groups.Results After nursing,the levels of glycated hemoglobin A1c,fasting plasma glucose,2-hour postprandial plasma glucose,Self-rating Anxiety Scale,and Self-rating Depression Scale scores in the study group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The scores of General Self-efficacy Scale and World Helth Quality Life-100 Items in the study group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion The application of Traditional Chinese Medicine comprehensive care for diabetic patients can help to reduce blood glucose level,improve psychological mood,and enhance their self-efficacy and quality of life.
