Objective To explore the value of high quality nursing in the nursing of patients with type 2 diabetes mel-litus and hepatitis B cirrhosis.Methods A total of 108 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and hepatitis B cirrhosis admitted to Zhongda Hospital Southeast University from January 2021 to December 2023 were selected as the re-search objects.After routine treatment of hepatitis B cirrhosis,they were divided into two groups according to different nursing methods,with 54 cases in each group.The control group received routine nursing,and the observation group received high quality nursing.The blood glucose levels(fasting plasma glucose,2-hour postprandial plasma glucose),negative emotion(Self-rating Anxiety Scale,Self-rating Depression Scale),self-management ability(self-care knowl-edge,self-concept,self-care skills,self-care responsibility)and quality of life were compared between the two groups.Results The levels of fasting plasma glucose,2-hour postprandial plasma glucose,Self-rating Anxiety Scale and Self-rating Depression Scale scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the scores of self-management ability and quality of life were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion High quality nursing measures in the nursing of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and hepatitis B cirrhosis can improve their emotional state and self-management ability,which can not only improve the effect of blood glucose control,but also improve the quality of life of patients.
