Objective To investigate the accuracy of serum C-peptide and glycosylated hemoglobin test in the diagno-sis of diabetes mellitus. Methods A total of 120 patients with suspected diabetes who were treated in Xian'an District Maternal and Child Health Hospital from August 2022 to December 2023 were selected.Serum C-peptide and glyco-sylated hemoglobin tests were performed. The clinical comprehensive diagnosis results were used as the gold standard to compare the diagnostic efficacy(accuracy, specificity, sensitivity)of single test and combined test of serum C-peptide and glycosylated hemoglobin. Results The accuracy, specificity and sensitivity of serum C-peptide and glyco-sylated hemoglobin combined detection were higher than those of the single detection, and the differences were statisti-cally significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion In the process of diabetes diagnosis, the diagnostic efficacy of the combined test of serum C-peptide and glycosylated hemoglobin are high.
