Objective To analyze the effect of β2-microglobulin combined with cystatin C test in the evaluation of diabetic nephropathy.Methods A total of 50 patients with diabetic nephropathy admitted to Yancheng Dafeng People's Hospital from January 2022 to December 2023 were selected as the observation group,and were divided into stage Ⅰ-Ⅱ(n=15),stage Ⅲ-Ⅳ(n=22)and stage Ⅴ(n=13)according to the degree of renal function injury.In addi-tion,50 healthy people who underwent physical examination in our hospital during the same period were selected as the control group.The levels of β2-microglobulin and cystatin C in the two groups were tested.The levels of β2-mi-croglobulin and cystatin C in the two groups and different degree of renal function injury were compared,and the diag-nostic efficacy of single detection and combined detection of β2-microglobulin and cystatin C was analyzed.Results Compared with the control group,the levels of β2-microglobulin and cystatin C in the observation group were higher,and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).The levels of β2-microglobulin and cystatin C in pa-tients with different degree of renal function injury were compared,and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).The sensitivity and specificity of combined test of β2-microglobulin and cystatin C were higher than those of single index test.Conclusion In the assessment of the diabetic nephropathy,the diagnostic efficacy of β2-mi-croglobulin combined with cystatin C test was higher than that of single test.
