Effect of Different Insulin Therapy on Perioperative Blood Glucose Level and Adverse Reactions in Patients with Early Cervical Cancer Compli-cated with Diabetes Mellitus
Objective To analyze the effects of different insulin treatment therapy on perioperative blood glucose lev-els and adverse reactions in patients with early cervical cancer complicated with diabetes mellitus. Methods A total of 62 patients with early cervical cancer complicated with diabetes mellitus who underwent surgical treatment in Yinch-uan Maternal and Child Health Hospital from April 2022 to December 2023 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into two groups according to different treatment methods, with 31 cases in each group. The control group was treated with routine subcutaneous injection of insulin, and the observation group was treated with continu-ous subcutaneous injection of insulin pump. The levels of blood glucose, insulin dosage, blood glucose compliance time, hypoglycemia and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results There was no significant difference in the levels of fasting blood glucose,2-hour postprandial blood glucose and glycated hemoglobin A1c be-tween the two groups before operation(all P>0.05).One week after operation, the levels of fasting blood glucose,2-hour postprandial blood glucose and glycated hemoglobin A1c in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).There was no significant difference in in-sulin dosage between the two groups(P>0.05).The blood glucose compliance time in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of hypoglyce-mia and the total incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).Conclusion Compared with routine insulin subcutane-ous injection therapy, continuous subcutaneous injection of insulin pump has better blood glucose control effect and can reduce the incidence of adverse reactions.
