Effect of Dachaihu Decoction and Acupoint Application on Blood Lipids,Blood Glucose and Insulin in Patients of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus with Liver and Stomach Heat Stagnation Type
Objective To explore the effect of Dachaihu Decoction combined with acupoint application on blood glu-cose and blood lipid in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus of liver and stomach heat stagnation type.Methods From May 2022 to May 2024,a total of 80 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus of liver and stomach heat stagnation type admitted to Medical Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Xuzhou City Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine were selected as the research objects.According to different treatment methods,they were divided into refer-ence group and combined group,with 40 cases in each group.The reference group was treated with metformin hydro-chloride combined with glimepiride,and the combined group was treated with Dachaihu Decoction combined with acu-point application on the basis of the reference group.The total effective rate,blood glucose indexs,blood lipid in-dexes,traditional chinese medicine syndrome score,insulin indexes after treatment were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the combined group was higher than that in the reference group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The blood glucose indexes(fasting blood glucose,2-hour postprandial blood glucose and glycated hemoglobin A1c),blood lipid indexes(triglyceride,total cholesterol),tra-ditional chinese medicine syndrome score and insulin indexes(fasting insulin level,islet β cell function index)of the combined group were better than those of the reference group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion Dachaihu Decoction combined with acupoint application can improve the blood lipid,blood glu-cose,insulin and traditional chinese medicine syndrome score of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus with liver and stomach heat stagnation type,and improve the therapeutic effect.
