Objective To analyze the nursing effect of comprehensive nursing on patients with type 2 diabetes melli-tus(T2DM)and its effect on blood glucose level.Methods A total of 144 patients with T2DM admitted to the Third People's Hospital of Rongcheng from October 2022 to October 2023 were selected as the research objects.According to different nursing methods,they were divided into two groups,with 72 cases in each group.The control group was given routine nursing methods,and the observation group was given comprehensive nursing methods on the basis of the control group.The compliance,satisfaction rate,blood glucose level before and after nursing and negative emo-tions score were compared between the two groups.Results After nursing,compared with the control group,the com-pliance and satisfaction rate of the observation group were higher,fasting blood glucose,2-hour postprandial blood glucose,glycated hemoglobin A1c levels and Self-rating Anxiety Scale,Self-rating Depression Scale scores were lower,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion Comprehensive nursing for T2DM pa-tients can significantly improve their satisfaction rate and compliance,improve blood glucose level and negative emo-tions.
