Objective To analyze the application value of continuous nursing in patients with diabetic foot. Methods The clinical data of 100 patients with diabetic foot admitted to Yantai Mountain Hospital of Yantai from December 2021 to September 2023 were retrospectively selected.According to different nursing methods, they were divided into control group(n=50)and study group(n=50).The control group received routine nursing, and the study group com-bined with continuous nursing on the basis of the control group. Before and 3 months after intervention, the levels of glycated hemoglobin A1c,fasting blood glucose and 2-hour postprandial blood glucose were compared between the two groups. At the same time, the scores of Self-rating Anxiety Scale,Self-rating Depression Scale and Diabetes-specific Quality of Life Scale were compared. Results After 3 months of intervention, the levels of glycated hemoglo-bin A1c,fasting blood glucose and 2-hour postprandial blood glucose in the study group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The scores of Self-rating Anxiety Scale and Self-rating Depression Scale in the study group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.001).The score of Diabetes-specific Quality of Life Scale in the study group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.001).Conclusion Con-tinuous nursing care for patients with diabetic foot can reduce blood glucose levels and alleviate negative emotions, helping to improve the quality of life of patients.
