Objective To analyze the intervention value of individualized diet nursing on blood glucose control in dia-betic patients. Methods A total of 68 patients with diabetes mellitus admitted to Weifang Endocrine and Metabolic Disease Hospital from May 2022 to June 2023 were selected as the research objects.According to different nursing methods, they were divided into control group and observation group, with 34 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, and the observation group was given individualized diet nursing. The blood glucose levels,Quality of Life(QOL)score before and after intervention, nursing satisfaction and complication rate were compared be-tween the two groups. Results The levels of fasting blood glucose,2-hour postprandial blood glucose and glycated he-moglobin A1c in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statisti-cally significant(all P<0.05).The QOL scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The nursing satisfaction of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of compli-cations in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Individualized diet nursing can effectively control the blood glucose levels of diabetic patients,re-duce the incidence of complications, and improve the quality of life and nursing satisfaction of patients.
