Objective To analyze the application of whole-course health education in diabetic patients and its influ-ence on self-care ability.Methods A total of 129 diabetic patients admitted to the Binzhou Medical University Hospi-tal from March 2021 to February 2023 were selected as the research objects.According to different nursing methods,they were divided into control group and observation group,including 64 cases in the observation group and 65 cases in the control group.The control group was given routine nursing,and the observation group was given whole-course health education.The self-care ability score and self-efficacy score of the two groups were compared.Results The scores of self-care ability and self-efficacy in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).Conclusion The whole-course health education for dia-betic patients can improve their self-care ability and cognitive level,and improve their self-efficacy.
