Diabetic peripheral neuropathy(DPN)is one of the common complications of diabetes.The effect of simple Western medicine treatment is generally not as expected.Traditional Chinese medicine has certain advantages in the treatment of DPN.It can treat DPN patients by syndrome differentiation,and treat them by acupuncture,Chinese medicine,massage,fumigation and other internal and external treatments.There are many treatment methods,and they have good therapeutic effects in clinical reports.In this paper,the cognition of DPN in traditional Chinese medi-cine was taken as the starting point,and the syndrome differentiation of DPN in traditional Chinese medicine was sum-marized,as well as the effect of traditional Chinese medicine related characteristic treatment methods,so as to provide some ideas for clinical treatment.
