Objective To explore the effect of standardized metabolic management center(MMC)model on medication compliance and blood glucose level in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Methods A total of 86 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus admitted to Haimen District Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital and the Fifth People's Hospi-tal of Haimen District from January to December 2021 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into two groups according to different nursing methods, with 43 cases in each group. The control group received routine in-tervention,and the observation group received MMC mode intervention. The medication compliance, blood glucose in-dex level and self-management ability were compared between the two groups. Results After intervention, the medica-tion compliance of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The scores of diet, exercise, blood glucose monitoring and medication in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The fasting blood glucose and 2-hour postprandial blood glucose levels of the observation group were lower than those of the con-trol group, and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).Conclusion The application of MMC model intervention in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus can improve their medication compliance, improve their self-management ability, and reduce their blood glucose levels.
