Objective To explore the effect of refined operating room nursing on complications and satisfaction of pa-tients with gastric cancer and diabetes mellitus.Methods A total of 88 patients with gastric cancer and diabetes melli-tus admitted to Jiyang District People's Hospital of Jinan from January 2022 to February 2023 were selected as the re-search objects.According to different nursing methods,they were divided into control group and observation group,with 44 cases in each group.The control group received routine nursing,and the observation group received refined operating room nursing.The incidence of complications,nursing satisfaction,and blood glucose levels were compared between the two groups.Results The incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The nursing satisfaction of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The levels of fasting blood glucose,2-hour postprandial blood glucose and glycated hemoglobin A1c in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion The imple-mentation of refined operating room nursing for patients with gastric cancer and diabetes mellitus can improve their blood glucose level,reduce the occurrence of complications,and have higher satisfaction with nursing.
