Objective To explore the clinical value of combined detection of serum cystatin C(CysC),homocysteine(Hcy),blood urea nitrogen(BUN)and urinary microalbumin(UmAlb)in the early diagnosis of type 2 diabetic ne-phropathy.Methods From January 2021 to December 2023,82 patients with type 2 diabetic nephropathy and 50 pa-tients with simple type 2 diabetic mellitus were selected as the observation group and the control group. Both groups were tested for CysC,Hcy,BUN,and UmAlb,and the differences in various indicators between the two groups were compared.Receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curves were drawn to analyze the value of each indicator in type 2 diabetic nephropathy diagnosis. Results The levels of CysC,Hcy,BUN and UmAlb in observation group were higher than those in control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).ROC curve showed that the area under the curve of combined detection of CysC,Hcy,BUN and UmAlb was 0.977,and the diagnostic efficiency of combined detection was higher than that of single index detection. Conclusion The combined detection of CysC,Hcy,BUN,and UmAlb has high diagnostic value in the early stage of type 2 diabetic nephropathy, which helps to identify renal injury in the early stage.
