Objective To analyze the effect of insulin injection+metformin oral+clinical nutrition therapy on blood glucose level in children with diabetes mellitus.Methods A total of 60 children with diabetes mellitus admitted to the Department of Pediatrics of Wenshang County Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January to December 2023 were selected as the research objects.They were divided into group A and group B according to different treat-ment methods,with 30 cases in each group.Group A were given insulin injection+clinical nutrition therapy,and group B increased oral metformin treatment on the basis of Group A.The blood glucose compliance time,blood glu-cose and nutritional index levels,daytime and nighttime blood glucose fluctuations were compared between the two groups.Results After treatment,the fasting blood glucose,2-hour postprandial blood glucose,glycated hemoglobin A1c,daytime and nighttime blood glucose fluctuations in group B were lower than those in group A,and the blood glu-cose compliance time was shorter than that in group A,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of serum albumin,transferrin and prealbumin in group B were higher than those in group A,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion Insulin injection+metformin oral+clinical nutrition therapy can effectively improve the blood glucose control level and nutritional status of children with diabe-tes mellitus,reduce blood glucose fluctuations,and shorten the blood glucose compliance time.
