Objective To explore the influence of high quality nursing on the postoperative effect of neurosurgical pa-tients with diabetes mellitus.Methods From March 2020 to December 2022,86 patients with neurosurgery compli-cated with diabetes mellitus admitted to Jiyang District People's Hospital were selected as the research objects.Ac-cording to different nursing methods,they were divided into control group(n=43,routine nursing)and observation group(n=43,high quality nursing on the basis of control group).The blood glucose level,postoperative complications and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups.Results After nursing,the levels of fasting plasma glucose and 2-hour postprandial plasma glucose in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).The incidence of postoperative complications in the ob-servation group was lower than that in the control group,and the nursing satisfaction was higher than that in the con-trol group,and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).Conclusion Compared with routine nursing,high quality nursing is more conducive to regulating postoperative blood glucose levels,reducing the incidence of com-plications and improving patient satisfaction.
