Objective To explore the application value of different insulin administration methods in the treatment of emergency diabetic ketoacidosis(DKA)patients. Methods The clinical data of 124 patients with emergency DKA ad-mitted to the Second Affiliated Hospital of Fujian Medical University from April 2023 to March 2024 were retrospec-tively selected. They were divided into routine group(subcutaneous injection of insulin)and observation group(micro-pump injection of insulin)by different insulin administration methods, with 62 cases in each group. The clinical effi-cacy,glucose metabolism levels and clinical indicators were compared between the two groups. Results The total ef-fective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the routine group, and the difference was statistically sig-nificant(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of glycated hemoglobin A1c,2-hour postprandial blood glucose and fast-ing blood glucose in the observation group were lower than those in the routine group, and the differences were statisti-cally significant(all P<0.05).The recovery time of urine ketone body,pH value and blood ketone body in the observa-tion group were shorter than those in the routine group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion The selection of insulin micropump injection in the treatment of emergency DKA patients can improve the clinical efficacy, effectively control the blood glucose levels and improve the clinical indicators.
