Diabetic foot ulcers is one of the serious complications of diabetes, which not only aggravates the physical burden of patients, but also poses a serious threat to their quality of life. After clinical debridement and invasive treat-ment of diabetic foot ulcers, the wound surface is often difficult to heal. With the progress of tissue engineering tech-nology,dermal regeneration template,as an emerging material for wound healing,is gradually applied to various acute and chronic wounds, which can accelerate the process of vascularization, accelerate the growth of granulation tissue and dermal tissue, and promote wound healing. This paper aims to explain the tissue structure, mechanism of action, clinical effect of diabetic foot ulcers and its shortcomings, and provide meaningful reference for the application of der-mal regeneration template in patients with diabetic foot ulcers.
