Clinical Effect of Dapagliflozin Combined with Insulin in the Treatment of Elderly Diabetic Nephropathy and the Effect on Renal Function and In-flammatory Factors
Objective To analyze the therapeutic effect of combined use of dapagliflozin and insulin in elderly pa-tients with diabetic nephropathy(DN).Methods A total of 80 patients with DN admitted to Zoucheng Second People's Hospital from October 2021 to October 2023 were selected as the research objects.According to different treatment methods,they were divided into group A(40 cases,treated with insulin)and group B(40 cases,treated with dapa-gliflozin+insulin).The renal function indexes,inflammatory factor levels and blood glucose levels of the two groups were compared.Results After treatment,the levels of blood urea nitrogen,serum creatinine,β2-microglobulin,para-thyroid hormone,interleukin-6,C-reactive protein,tumor necrosis factor-α,interleukin-1β,fasting plasma glucose,2-hour postprandial plasma glucose and glycated hemoglobin A1c in group B were lower than those in group A,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of dapagliflozin and insulin in elderly patients with DN can significantly improve renal function,inflammatory factors and blood glucose levels.
