Study on the Value of Peer Education Combined with Comprehensive Nursing Intervention in the Treatment of Diabetic Patients with Severe Re-nal Failure by Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy
Objective To explore the value of peer education combined with comprehensive nursing intervention in the treatment of diabetic patients with severe renal failure by continuous renal replacement therapy. Methods The clinical data of 68 patients with diabetes mellitus complicated with severe renal failure admitted to Jingshan People's Hospital from January 2022 to March 2024 were retrospectively selected and divided into two groups according to dif-ferent nursing methods, with 34 cases in each group. The control group was given comprehensive nursing intervention, and the observation group was given peer education intervention on the basis of the control group. The scores of bad mood, coping style and blood glucose indexes were compared between the two groups. Results After nursing, the scores of Self-rating Depression Scale and Self-rating Anxiety Scale in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).After nursing, the avoidance and yield scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the face score was higher than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).After nursing, the levels of fasting blood glucose,2-hour postprandial blood glucose and glycated hemoglobin A1c in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion The imple-mentation of comprehensive nursing intervention combined with peer education for diabetic patients with severe renal failure treated with continuous renal replacement therapy has a good intervention effect, which can change the way pa-tients cope with the disease and improve the patient's bad mood and blood glucose level.
