Objective To explore the effect of integrated rehabilitation nursing on quality of life and blood glucose control in elderly patients with diabetes mellitus.Methods The clinical data of 80 elderly patients with diabetes melli-tus admitted to the Longyan First Hospital from January 2023 to March 2024 were retrospectively selected and divided into two groups according to different nursing methods,with 40 cases in each group.The control group received rou-tine nursing intervention,and the study group received integrated rehabilitation nursing.The blood glucose level,self-care ability and quality of life scores were compared between the two groups before and after 2 months of intervention.Results After 2 months of intervention,the levels of fasting blood glucose and 2-hour postprandial blood glucose in the study group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).After 2 months of intervention,the scores of self-care ability and quality of life in the study group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion The inte-grated rehabilitation nursing can effectively reduce the blood glucose level of elderly diabetic patients and improve their self-care ability and quality of life.
