Objective To analyze the application effect of Tangshenkang Decoction in the treatment of patients with diabetic nephropathy.Methods A total of 100 patients with diabetic nephropathy admitted to Shaanxi Diabetes Hospi-tal from March 2022 to February 2024 were selected as the research objects and divided into two groups according to different treatment methods,with 50 cases in each group.The control group was treated with Western medicine,and the study group was treated with Western medicine+Tangshenkang Decoction.The clinical efficacy,traditional Chi-nese medicine syndrome score,blood glucose level,renal function,lipid metabolism index and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the study group was higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the scores of mental fa-tigue,limb numbness,waist and knee weakness,the levels of fasting blood glucose,2-hour postprandial blood glucose,urea nitrogen,serum creatinine,urinary microalbumin excretion rate,total cholesterol and triglyceride in the study group were lower than those in the control group,and the level of high-density lipoprotein cholesterol was higher than that in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The addition of Tangshenkang De-coction to the Western medicine treatment of diabetic nephropathy can improve the blood glucose and lipid metabolism indexes of patients,improve clinical symptoms,protect renal function and improve clinical efficacy.
