Objective To explore the effect of peritoneal dialysis combined with hemodialysis in the treatment of dia-betic nephropathy. Methods The clinical data of 120 patients with diabetic nephropathy admitted to 73rd Army Group Hospital of the PLA from February 2023 to May 2024 were retrospectively selected.According to different treatment methods, they were divided into control group(n=60,hemodialysis)and observation group(n=60,peritoneal dialysis combined with hemodialysis). The blood glucose level, renal function level and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the fasting blood glucose,2-hour postprandial blood glu-cose,serum creatinine, urea nitrogen, cystatin C,β2-microglobulin and the incidence of adverse reactions in the ob-servation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion The implementation of peritoneal dialysis combined with hemodialysis can significantly improve the renal function level and blood glucose level of patients with diabetic nephropathy, and reduce the incidence of ad-verse reactions.
