Objective To explore the effect of Yiqi Yangyin Decoction combined with warm acupuncture in the treat-ment of diabetic peripheral neurophathy(DPN).Methods A total of 102 DPN patients admitted to the Second People's Hospital of Liaoyuan from March 2022 to March 2024 were selected and divided into the control group(treated with epalrestat tablet)and the study group(treated with Yiqi Yangyin Decoction and warm acupuncture were added to the control group)according to different treatment methods,with 51 cases each.Nerve conduction velocity,blood glucose level and clinical efficacy were compared between the two groups.Results After 3 months of treat-ment,the levels of fasting blood glucose and 2-hour postprandial blood glucose in the two groups were lower than those before treatment,and the blood glucose levels of the study group were lower than those of the control group,the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).After 3 months of treatment,the sensory nerve conduction ve-locity and motor nerve conduction velocity of median nerve and common peroneal nerve in the two groups were faster than those before treatment,and the nerve conduction velocities in the study group were faster than those in the con-trol group,the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The total effective rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion On the ba-sis of conventional Western medicine,Yiqi Yangyin Decoction combined with warm acupuncture in the treatment of DPN can improve the nerve conduction velocity of patients,with better glucose control effect and significant clinical effect.
