Objective To investigate the effect of intravenous infusion of insulin mixture on renal function in patients with diabetic ketoacidosis.Methods A total of 76 patients with diabetes ketoacidosis admitted to Shouguang People's Hospital from April 2022 to March 2024 were selected and divided into two groups according to different treatment methods,with 38 cases in each group.The control group was treated with intravenous infusion of low-dose insulin,and the observation group was treated with intravenous infusion of normal saline mixed with insulin.The blood glu-cose level,acidosis index,renal function and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results After intervention,the levels of fasting blood glucose,2-hour postprandial blood glucose,glycated hemoglobin A1c,blood lactic acid and serum β-hydroxybutyric acid in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the carbon dioxide binding capacity was higher than that in the control group,the differences were statistically signifi-cant(all P<0.05).After intervention,the levels of serum urea nitrogen,serum creatinine and cystatin C in the observa-tion group were lower than those in the control group,and the glomerular filtration rate was higher than that in the con-trol group,the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the inci-dence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Intravenous infusion of normal saline com-bined with insulin can reduce the blood glucose level in patients with diabetic ketoacidosis,improve the acidosis in-dex and renal function,and the drug is safe.
