Objective: To analyze in depth the role of digital medical record information technology in hospital work.Method: The research period was from October 2022 to February 2023, with a total of 2000 selected paper medical records.Among them, 1000 medical records were managed using traditional paper medical records and were assigned to the traditional group.The remaining 1000 medical records were managed using digital medical record information technology and assigned to the digital group.The management error rate and retrieval time in different medical record management were analyzed separately.Result: The error rate in traditional medical record management was 2.41%, while the error rate in digital free medical record management decreased significantly by 0.4%, with significant differences compared to each other (P<0.05); The digital group had significantly shorter medical record retrieval time compared to the traditional group (P<0.05).Conclusion: Applying digital medical record management information technology to hospital medical record management can not only improve resource utilization but also promote the improvement of hospital medical technology, so it is worth adopting.
