Promoting the coordinated development of the integration of culture and tourism industry is an important topic to achieve high-quality economic development,high-quality transformation of industrial structure and overall optimization of space.In this paper,an evaluation index system for the integrated de-velopment of"culture-tourism"industry is constructed,and the level of integration and development of"cul-ture-tourism"industry from 2010 to 2019 is measured and its spatial effect is further analyzed by means of coupling and coordination model with the help of 14 prefectures in Xinjiang.The results show that:The first,in the three systems of the integrated development of the"cultural and tourism industry",the back-ground of cultural and tourism integration resources has grown rapidly,the supporting conditions of cultur-al and tourism integration have fluctuated and increased,and the cultural industry has shown the character-istics of slow growth to rapid growth.The second,the integration and development of"culture-tourism"in-dustry in Xinjiang's 14 prefectures is good,and the correlation between the three systems is strong and the degree of coordination is high.The Third,from 2010 to 2019,the spatial effect of the development of Xinji-ang's"culture-tourism"industry showed the structural characteristics of"asymmetry"of strong west and weak east.
