As a core city and development engine of the Greater Bay area,the synergetic development of Shen-zhen and the Greater Bay area has an important impact on promoting the development strategy of the Greater Bay area and the construction of a leading demonstration area of socialism with Chinese characteristics.This pa-per selects the relevant economic data and population data published by the statistical departments of 11 cities in the Greater Bay area in 2020,comprehensively uses the Spatial Gravity Model and Comparative Advan-tage Model,and innovatively constructs the comprehensive Collaborative Development Index(CDI)system of Shenzhen and other cities in the Greater Bay area from four aspects:the synergy of economic gravity,the syn-ergy of industrial structure,the synergy of qualified people comparative advantage,and the synergy of busi-ness environment,Comprehensively evaluate and analyze the coordinated development degree between Shenzhen and relevant cities in the Greater Bay area.The research shows that the coordinated development of indus-tries in Shenzhen and Guangzhou is higher,mainly due to the high degree of economic attraction synergy,qualified people comparative advantage synergy and international business environment synergy;The degree of synergy development between Shenzhen and the urban agglomeration of the Greater Bay area still needs to be improved.
