To achieve regional coordinated development in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area,it is necessary to have legal guarantees.After the establishment of the legal system for environmental pro-tection,legislation in the field of ecological and environmental protection has entered the era of applied legislation.my country's existing general laws cannot solve the special ecological environment problems ex-isting in river basins and regions.It is necessary to formulate special laws,systematically integrate ex-isting systems,systems and mechanisms,and explore a legislative model suitable for regional ecological en-vironment protection.Since the 13th Five-Year Plan,legislative attempts have been made to address the eco-logical protection issues of the Yangtze River,Yellow River,Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei,Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area,Hainan Free Trade Zone,and Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.They are integrated innovations in legislative models.Among them,the"Yangtze River Protection Law"have been implemented and achieved sig-nificant results.In the process of developing laws in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area,it is recommended to draw on comprehensive legislation such as the Yangtze River Protection Law to combine special issues and coordinated governance situations to enhance the effectiveness and pertinence of river basin and regional special laws.
