As one of the important directions in the field of household finance research,household finan-cial market participation has attracted greater attention.This paper reviews current research that studies the influencing factors of household financial market participation from four perspectives:macro environ-ment,background risk,household characteristics and behavioral characteristics,and systematically sort out and discuss the representative domestic and foreign literature.Because of the short development time of household finance and the weak data base,the relevant studies on household financial market participation need to be further improved.
