The cross-border mobility of Chinese international students is mainly manifested in the continu-ous increase of the scale of cross-border mobility and the concentration of destinations.However,under the influence of public health emergencies,the willingness of Chinese students to cross-border mobility de-creases,destinations change,and the cost of cross-border mobility increases,leading to dynamic changes in the scale of cross-border mobility.Therefore,after the occurrence of public health emergencies,the state needs to strengthen external cooperation and internal supervision to promote cross-border mobility.Univer-sities can provide lectures and courses on internationalisation to increase students'willingness to move across borders.Individuals can reduce the cost of cross-border mobility by choosing countries with high aca-demic standards and low living costs while safeguarding their own safety.
