The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area,as an important economic development region in China,serves as a vital carrier and demonstration of"Chinese-style modernization."The strategic develop-ment of the Greater Bay Area and the five basic principles of"Chinese-style modernization"have inherent co-herence.The Greater Bay Area must thoroughly understand and grasp the new mission and new positioning of the"one core,two wings"in the new era and new journey,take the lead in constructing a new development pattern,accelerate the establishment of a modern industrial system,promote high-level technological self-reliance,stimulate strategic development efficiency through reform and opening up,and actively promote high-level opening to the outside world.
