In response to the insufficient research on the construction path of provincial sub-central cit-ies under the strategy for coordinated regional development in China,this article conducts a comprehensive evaluation of high-quality development of provincial sub-central cities from the perspective of industrial geography.By constructing a comprehensive evaluation index system for high-quality development of provin-cial sub-central cities from six dimensions:innovation,greenness,coordination,openness,co-sharing,and economies of scale,a comprehensive evaluation of industrial high-quality development of eight important provincial sub-central cities in China is conducted.Based on this,relative countermeasures and sugges-tions are proposed for the construction of Ganzhou City as a provincial sub-central city.
