This article delves into the application and potential of big data in optimizing tourism logis-tics.By analyzing two practical cases-Ctrip and Tuniu,this study reveals the value of big data in demand forecasting,inventory management,and personalized services,as well as the challenges that may be encoun-tered during implementation.The article also proposes a series of tourism logistics optimization strate-gies based on big data,including data-driven demand forecasting,inventory management,and personalized services,and discusses the implementation challenges and expected effects of these strategies.This study provides valuable theoretical reference and practical guidance for tourism companies and logistics service providers.
