摘要
南海是我国最重要的海岛和珊瑚礁、红树林、海床草、海底冷泉与热泉等热带生态系统分布区,其壮观瑰丽的景象是基于虚拟现实的全沉浸式展示的绝佳对象,在给人身临其境体验的同时,能更好地发挥博物馆教育功能.海南热带海洋学院南海文化博物馆与海南诺亦腾海洋科技研究院有限公司共同研发了基于虚拟现实的全国首个专业化海洋生态类的全沉浸式展示场景,在南海文化博物馆南海海洋生态全沉浸式展示示范间进行示范.本文通过收集观众体验后的问卷调查数据,调查研究虚拟现实技术在南海海洋生态教育、传播、体验方面的应用潜力,其目的是为应用于南海文化博物馆新馆生态展区做前期研发,同时也是为创建海南特色文化旅游项目,为海南自由贸易港建设服务.
Abstract
The South China Sea is the most important marine ecological distribution area in China,encom-passing islands,coral reefs,mangroves,seagrass beds,and underwater cold and hot springs.Its magnificent and stunning scenery provides an excellent subject for fully immersive virtual reality displays,enabling visitors to experience the environment firsthand and enhancing the educational function of museums.The South China Sea Cultural Museum at the Hainan Tropical Ocean University,in collaboration with the Hainan Noitom Marine Technology Research Institute,has jointly developed the nation's first specialized immersive exhibition in marine ecology based on virtual reality technology.This exhibition has been demonstrated in the immersive display demonstration area of the South China Sea Ocean Ecology at the South China Sea Cultural Museum.Through the collection of questionnaire data based on visitor experiences,research has been con-ducted to explore the potential application of virtual reality technology in South China Sea marine ecologi-cal education,communication,and experiential aspects.The aim is to conduct preliminary research and de-velopment for application in the new ecological exhibition area of the South China Sea Cultural Museum's new pavilion,as well as to create distinctive cultural tourism projects for Hainan,serving the construction of the Hainan Free Trade Port.
