The ocean has been the forefront of global scientific and technological competition.With the promotion of the construction of becoming a marine power,China's marine scientific and technological pat-tern is undergoing obvious adjustment.Shenzhen has outstanding advantages in scientific and technological innovation,and has made great progress in the field of marine science and technology in recent years,but there are still many shortcomings.On the basis of summarizing the situations,development foundations and main challenges of marine science and technology,this paper puts forward four suggestions on improving the level of marine science and technology in Shenzhen:accelerating the gathering of high-end innovative re-sources,building industrial support service platforms,strengthening multi-level cooperation in marine science and technology community,and planning and implementing industrial integration demonstration proj-ects.
