With the vigorous development of the digital economy,the development of the digital economy has the same logic as the realization of common prosperity,and the development of the digital economy is an im-portant way to promote the realization of common prosperity.Starting from the micro household level,this pa-per empirically studies the impact of the development of digital economy on the income level gap of residents.The results show that the development of the digital economy can reduce the gap between household income lev-els and promote the realization of common prosperity.Further analysis shows that the development of digital economy can reduce the income gap of households by improving the human,physical and social capital of resi-dents,and the effect has regional heterogeneity and income heterogeneity.
