The Advanced Experience and Logic in Establishing an International Science and Technology Innovation Center Within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area
To establish the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area into an international science and technology innovation center with global influence,it is necessary to fully learn from the world's advanced experience and follow the logical path of the formation of science and technology innovation centers.This paper firstly defines the concept and connotation of international science and technology innovation center from the perspectives of science and technology,industry,economy and culture through theoretical deduc-tion.Secondly,it expounds the evolution process and main characteristics of international science and technology innovation centers,and summarizes the collaborative innovation models of high-level urban ag-glomerations such as San Francisco Bay Area,Tokyo Bay Area and Greater London.Thirdly,the paper divides the international science and technology innovation centers into three types,including government-supported,market-oriented and knowledge-driven,and clarifies their core driving forces.Then,the ad-vanced experience and core rules of major scientific and technological innovation centers in the world such as Silicon Valley,Boston metropolitan area and Israel are summarized and analyzed.Finally,based on inter-national advanced cases,the necessary conditions for building an international science and technology inno-vation center in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area are put forward.
