With abundant natural resources and favorable geographical advantages,Shanwei is one of the coastal cities in the eastern part of Guangdong Province.In recent years,the economic strength of Shanwei has been continuously strengthening.With the official upgrade of the Shenzhen Metropolitan Area to a national-level metropolitan area and the establishment of the Shenzhen-Shanwei Special Cooperation Zone,Shanwei has become a focus of attention and is poised to embrace new development opportunities.This article provides an overview of the current status of the three major industries in Shanwei,analyzes the recent trends and potential of the city's industrial development,and puts forward corresponding development paths and policy suggestions.The aim is to provide reference for Shanwei to achieve high-quality economic develop-ment.
